Witchy Animal Stylin' in LA

Normally I dress a little more "cutesy" and bright of late, but sometimes you just got to bring out the "witch" in you. *wink* I have so many black animal-themed accessories (cat-eye sunglasses a la Quay, bear bowler) that I just decided to roll with the animal styling theme with my fishtail braids.

The military style coat I'm wearing originally was open instead of appearing closed/fastened as pictured. To flatter my figure a little better I sewed on a strategically placed hook on the coat. A little alteration does wonders. I usually run a little colder so more often than not I am wearing cardigans or long sleeves, but this is a good compromise on those nice to warm days where that just won't do.

My hi low dress is in a rose floral pattern paired with my boots reminds of some sort of granny-chic style haha along with my grey silver fox hair. I added eyelet ruffle socks with my boots to add extra pop of "cute" into my outfit.

I was definitely torn on my lip color though. Should I rock the bright purple color which coincidentally matches my dress or the muted greige purple color (last)? I muted the bright purple lip color with a coat of Limecrime cashmere - worked wonders.
Either way I am definitely stylishly comfortable for my full day of sales event hopping in LA.

Sometimes it's fun to do a style you normally don't wear. Do you ever stray outside your fashion norms?
